Matrix Models of 2D Cosmologies

String theory in two dimensions has a nonperturbative definition as a solvable Matrix model. Various time dependent scenarios can be described exactly in this model, including closed string tachyon condensation, and (perhaps) a cosmology of a 2D closed universe.
