Diffusive-like motion is observed with inert sub-micron particles in
living fibroblasts. This motion is found to be molecular motor activity
dependent. Using active microrheology method with optical tweezers, we show that
this diffusive-like motion is due to active stress fluctuation in an elastic
network.
